I didn't do well as a photographer during the Parade of Lights in Denver last weekend... but I did get this photo of all the people who used the parking garage as a viewing area. Smart idea!

In our school district all 6th graders get the opportunity to attend Outdoor Lab School for a week. My former 5th graders went up the week after Thanksgiving. I visited them one day and love taking photos. So I have several to post! Enjoy!

209/365 Crazy Hair Day
Yesterday was Crazy Hair Day at school and I couldn't pass up this photo! It was wonderful to see my 1st grade students engaged with their 6th grade reading buddies, despite the crazy hair.

On the first day of school - as we were walking outside - one of my first graders spied this dead dragonfly. We were amazed at how "together it was"! This isn't the best photo but the wings are AMAZING!
