To celebrate my husband's Grandma - my daughter and I made a collage... I did the photos and she wrote this sweet poem.

Great Grandma Adeline was a great lady
proud,
nice,
kind.

Great Grandma Adeline gave words another meaning.
with love
thoughtfulness,
and bravery.

She was a farmer lady
drove the tractor
worked hard,
loved farming.

She’s a lady of kindness and we love her.

My 5th grade class has been fervent test takers during this first week of state testing. I've baked them some cake to celebrate!!

Last night (sorry the post is late) was book club. Our host cooked a WONDERFUL meal and a great night was had by all.

My husband's grandmother passed away today. She lived to be 95! I took this photo in March of 2008. What is amazing about today is that I have a coworker who gave birth to girl today. One leaves and another enters!
